BDML launches mychoice general insurance
Directly Authorised Intermediaries given free access to mychoice general insurance
BDML, a Capita company, has announced the launch of mychoice general insurance to the Directly Authorised intermediary market.
Previously only available to Networks and their Appointed Representatives, Directly Authorised intermediaries can now register at www.mychoice-insurance.co.uk, and instantly access mychoice to quote and purchase home insurance.
The DA mychoice site offers all the same benefits enjoyed by the larger networks, including a panel of 10 independently selected insurers, a single common policy wording, pre-populated compliance documentation, a commission alteration option and free access to the Building Cost Information Service’s brand new rebuild look up feature.
The portal was developed by Webline, also part of Capita and renowned as a leading quote and fulfilment provider in the financial services sector. This joint initiative between BDML and Webline has clearly leveraged the scope of ability between the two companies.
Matt Humphrey, Client Service & Operations Director at Webline, said: “This extended offering in the general insurance market will help generate new income streams for Directly Authorised intermediaries by providing the opportunity to increase their portfolio of services. Advisers can address the need for household insurance in an improved comprehensive solution and therefore expand and improve their services in line with the Treating Customers Fairly guidelines.”
Paul Stacy, Operations Director at BDML, said mychoice has proven itself extremely popular amongst Networks, their Appointed Representatives and National Groups and I’m delighted that by combining the market presence and technological abilities of BDML and Webline we can offer the DA market a significant enhancement to their portfolio of client services.
