Announces 2002 Results and Growth Plans
BDML Connect Limited, a leading general insurance intermediary, has just announced its results for 2002.
Profits for last year were in excess of £0.85m, ahead of the previous year. Commenting on the results, Sandy Dunn, Chairman and Chief Executive, said, "This excellent result was realised despite a year of significant investment by the company in several new partnerships and business initiatives, the rewards from which will flow through to profit this year and in the future. The company is in excellent shape to capitalise on the opportunities available in the market".
BDML Connect has firmly established itself as the preferred partner for major brand holders wishing to extend or complement their insurance offerings to customers. Providing fully branded general insurance solutions to its business partners, the company enjoys an enviable reputation for quality and service and has developed relationships with several prominent partners in recent years.
Dunn went on to say, "We are keen to grow our share of the market and in order to do so we recently appointed Paul Cosh as our managing director to help us achieve our ambitions.
Paul founded Century Insurance Centres in 1990 and, when it was acquired by Budget in 1999, remained with them having responsibility for the branch network, business development and product development.
The next two years will bring many challenges for the intermediary sector, not least of which is FSA regulation, and BDML Connect is better placed than many to prosper in such a climate".
